Sadly, on April 14th, 2024, Betty June Brown passed away having been a resident of San Leandro for 96 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Gerald; parents Ruby and Earl Bettencourt; siblings, Earl Bettencourt Jr. (Barbara), Marguerite McLachlan (Mac), and son-in-law Paul Herkenrath.  Betty is survived by her children, Cheryl Brown-Herkenrath, Caryn Brown-Welch (Corey), Richard (Rick) Brown and her grandson, Rory Gallagher (Laurel).
